वर्तमान में विद्यालय का जो स्वरूप हम लोगों के मध्य प्रतिष्ठित है इसका बीजारोपण शिक्षा की ज्योति प्रज्वलित करने वाली विदुषी एवं त्याग मूर्ति श्रीमती जानकी सूभेदार के द्वारा संस्कृत पाठशाला के रूप में सन् 1916 में हुआ था ।इसके पश्चात विद्यालय को उन्नत रूप देने में श्री अन्ना साहब सूभेदार एवं श्री बाला साहब सूभेदार का श्रेय रहा , उपरोक्त दोनों विभूतियों के अथक प्रयासों एवं संकल्पों से विद्यालय का वर्तमान वटवृक्ष रूप हम लोगों के समक्ष प्रस्तुत है। शिक्षा व्यवसाय नहीं अपितु सेवा का माध्यम है इस मूलभूत सिद्धांत को मानते हुए, वर्तमान में इसी परिवार के श्री कैप्टेन सुधीर सूभेदार ( संरक्षक) एवं श्री सचिन सूभेदार( प्रबंधक ) के द्वारा सुदूर ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों तक शिक्षा का प्रचार एवं प्रसार किया जा रहा है।
About Us
The school was set up as small Sanskrit pathshala in 1916 by family aunt, Jankibai Subhedar. Later it became a society for managing. First chairman was late Annasaheb Subhedar, and manager, prabandhak was late Vyankatesh Subhedar. They were instrumental in getting U.P. board approval in 1963; Xth. approval in 1968 and XIIth. approval in 1997.
The school boasts of being first co ed school in the outskirts of Kanpur for over 50 years, approved by government of UP board of secondary education Allahabad for classes 1-12 in science, arts, commerce and home science.
Efforts are in place to get permission to start biology section in intermediate. Some 1300 boys and girls are studying in this partly aided school. A Parent Teacher Association is established every year duly assisted by class monitors to help school management. Accounts are audited by DIOS for the government and for family by local CA.
The school has NCC junior wing facilities, trained sports teacher and auditorium for co-curricular activities.
Efforts are in progress for implementing new national education policy including emphasis on continuous assessment and competency based learning. Efforts are also being made to obtain small internships for practical training in the real world.
Courtesy Dr. Dilip Subhedar, school has installed solar power plant of 8.5 KW to save Rs. 15,000 on monthly electricity bill.
